RTO plateauing under 50% in top 10 USA cities

Check out the tweet below on the overall RTO, for top 10 cities in the USA. This is tracked by Kastle, an office security and real estate copmany... The occupancy is well under 50% and the return is plateauing after some sharp increases after the vaccine was released...

Anyhow, this is such a big change, historically, that I doubt we've seen all the knock-on effects. The biggest may still be in the future. If you can predict one, you could grow a big company off the energy that will be released.

They are shrinking it as fast as they can. CPG loves to sell buildings and expire leases. Other than screwing their fellow WF employees, it's the thing they are best at.

Probably less than 10% in my building when I go in. At this point, it's clear that a large majority has said 'FRTO'. The execs will never ever change course, so now we'll get treated like children and tracked/monitored/CA'd to the point where most people cave and/or leave the company...which is EXACTLY what the higher ups want.

My floor is below 10% occupancy. Typically, there are about 10-15 of us on a floor that holds 200

True. I've been going in the office almost daily since March and I've yet to see more than 30% of the floor full on any day, and even with a rotating schedule, I haven't seen anything close to 50%. Being in the office for the sake of being in the office isn't going to work.

@kgh true that you could do the job from home, but some people like the separation between work or home... or don't have a home office set up... or don't care for playing video games and watching Netflix all day
