What does Wells Fargo do with all of the automated system screen captures? Is there a group of people that actually goes through them, or is there an automated sorting system? Is that something managers have access to? I use my laptop and phone for anything by non work-related, but it's something I've been curious about.

IT guy here. Every so often they take a representation of the most recent data that's been sent to your monitor, and then apply a hash to it. In English that means they get a big string of numbers that uniquely describes what's on your monitor at that point in time. This is NOT a "screenshot".
After some time they take another representation, hash it, and come up with another big string of numbers. Then they compare the previous string with the current string.
If both of them match, then they know that nothing on your screen has changed, ergo, you're not working. Screen savers don't save you from this - they also know if the screen saver process is active, so they get you there too.
Some groups have had non-stop video monitoring on their computers for over a decade already. Typically it's a CYA so they can prove that what was done lines up with the voice recording.

So, none of the monitoring software used takes screen shots. Unless you are under investigation.
Only people who are monitored closely are the traders and I can attest screen shots are not

Monitoring of email and browser use is a requirement for all major banks but the purpose is for compliance and not productivity
What do they do with that data? Is there automation built in so that it filters through anything that wouldn't be considered typical user behavior?
Hidden forensic software exists for screenshots and on-going captures with added mouse and keystroke tracking so the little circle icon would not apply
the circle with the dot indicates an application is using your computers location.
When you see the little circle icon with the dot in the middle, that's when it's taking a screenshot, right?
