For about the last 4 months I have been putting in over-time to maintain a steady level in our department, as far as what I do. No complaints from my boss. Right now it actually helps me stay ahead of the expensive gas and food situation. I am hourly and I know it is costing the company money. Should I worry when layoffs come about? No one else does what I do. My reviews have been average , but never negative.

Some of those comments are being downvoted, but they're true. You need to self-identify as some protected class these days.
This is a corporation. They are in control of everything. There is nothing you can do except be in a protected “minority” class. Keep saving and investing like crazy. Keep your resume current. That is all that you can do for now.
Your reviews will be average so they don’t have to promote you no matter how well you perform. I have literally seen mine changed by upper management when my manager recommended me for promotion which was denied. Another cost cutting measure the past three years.
Can't imagine why Wells is getting sued for racial discrimination right now looking at this thread...
Someone woke up grandpa again
Can you identify as African American?
Lmao these posts are hilarious. Sad but true. Join LGBTQ and come out of closet, you'll get promoted.
