There are some good engineers in WFI; but the resistance towards a growth mindset and toxic positivity by their leaders is mind numbing.

C-suite. They are outsourcing to India to prove DE&I truly exists at the bank.

Company that does work in US is US centric. shocked face. I mean if i was hired at a company based out of and did most of its business in Germany, i would expect to work German hours.

The off shore people are getting rowdy. If you see the Glassdoor reviews for India, they are not happy with pay, not happy with having to work late nights with their US counterparts, and are mad that the company is so US centric.

I can backup @lbb+1h5EIhJg's comments also. This phase has been done back in 2012, and the off-shorting sounds nice for bottom line savings. But it creates a significant risk.

Is anyone aware, or does anyone have insight, on Wells Fargo permanently offshoring administrative assistant and executive administrative assistant roles?

Controllers for Equipment Finance is ready. It is already run by Indian managers onshore. Wells Fargo India can do better and more efficient than the onshore staff

From what I see and hear it seems like they are targeting a percentage of all areas to be offshore. 25-30% target percentages are numbers I have heard tossed out there. Not confirmed

Everything that isn't nailed down. The bank is working on tellerless branches with video monitors for customer service.

I've worked with dozens offshore. They're not even worth 1/20 the cost. Takes a year to train them do anything, they use their poor English to duck out of work, their work is absolute garbage, and they leave for another company after you sunk hundreds of hours in them for training. I've did this rodeo so many times I don't waste my time any longer. My boss is always telling me why don't you get Rajani or Abu to do it tonight. In every case its not done and the next day i'm doing it during my 6-7 hours of double booked agile scrum calls. Good luck to Charlie and his offshoring plans..

Those moves of Risk and Control areas under SP - India already setting up and leading Control meetings. They’re working fast.
