BOD approved 2022 executive compensation…

I wonder if shareholders voting matters at all. Thoughts?

Oh man, didn’t even know there was a vote. Someone should have posted about it on here.

WFC stock currently has close to 4 billion shares outstanding. How many people that have 100, 200, 5,000, etc. shares in their 401K or investment accounts even read the ballots let alone respond and vote? Most probably just clicking to auto-vote based on board recommendation. That's why those shareholder proposals gain little traction. Need some big name activist investor to come in with a large % of shares owned and hype those type of things up. That's why I don't think small individual shareholders vote really matters much, just another sham.

I voted the opposite of what the board recommended especially when it pertains to executive comp

Most shareholders probably voted with the board. I did.

Any shareholders who don’t vote their shares, or don’t vote for those specific questions, have a proxy vote filled on their behalf. The proxies are C-suite execs, and guess how they vote??
