The last day for many DXC/IT contractors was yesterday (4/30). They handled much of the internal PC support side of the house (SCCM, Back Office, Packaging, etc.). They were let go due to performance issues and missed SLA's. Much of the work is being brought back in-house (Jeremy Legg organization). Seems like the company is finally realizing contracting work out doesn't pay off in the long term.

I work for Legg and so far he has done what he has said he would do and then some. Now he reports directly to Stankey I hope that doesn’t change.He seems like a guy that wouldn’t blindly follow, I’m sure any company would be glad to have him if he jumped ship. 32 years at this place, and I haven’t made a positive statement about anyone here in the last 10 years. So far so good with Legg.

He seems like a decent guy, let’s hope he isn’t poisoned by AT&T. The architects of all of this cr-p still work for him… When does Jon Summers face the music?
I'll give Legg some credit - he said he was against outsourcing and has a plan to bring more it jobs back in house ad so far it really seems like he is following through.
for the past year i haven't been worried about when i would see an it rumor for layoffs on this site.
But alas its only a matter of time before good ole T poisons him too
