Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Question for those diagnosed with COVID after RTO

Here’s the situation:
I tested positive for COVID this Monday, thankfully not a severe case (though I wouldn’t call it mild). I’ve been without fever and lessening symptoms for 24 hours.

If I am reading the Workplace FAQs correctly I can RTO as long as I wear a mask for the next 5 days...though it’s unclear if that’s expected.

Here’s my question - those of you in a similar situation did you RTO for the 5 days following the end of fever? If so, was it by choice or were you told you had to? I will ask my manager, but I am curious as to what others are doing and have been told (it seems like the FAQ are nebulous about this on purpose).

I never told anyone. Just stayed home a few days stating that I wasn't feeling well, then appeared in the office. No big deal. Not a bad case either. Pretty much everyone is vaxxed at this point.

People who are sad they have to go into the office severely regret that number 2 is true.

My mgr announced in staff meeting "now that Covid is over" ...... I about fell off my chair (in my home office) Covid will never go away--it will be contained like the flu...
Let's be careful out there -- be kind and respectful to ourselves and others.

go to teamworks. search for "our workplace" once there go to "health concerns". the health concerns page spells out in detail what you are required to do.

You have to call SOACC. They will give you instructions on when you can return and assign you a case manager. If you are positive you are not allowed or shouldn't be in the office. They don't care if your symptoms are mild or severe. They don't want the office infected & will compensate you for your time out of work.

I think it’s 6 weeks until you need to come back in office. Should be there in the COVID RTO docs.
