Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Is ECMO officially done?

So is ECMO done then? Are all the case workers getting laid off? Anyone know what’s going on with them since majority pulled into the temporary workforce share redeployment?

I can’t imagine Complaints as a whole going anywhere. Down-sizing or redistributing jobs, maybe, but there will always be complaints that need to be processed.

ECMO is "Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation" (ECMO) used to save premature & full-term babies in Neonatal ICUs who are born w/a heart or lung disorder. The ECMO is the baby's "Heart & Lung" machine outside their body, circulating clean blood & air into their bodies to survive.

Wells Fargo is blaming the ECMO for their failing to satisfy the customers.
Wells Fargo is looking for a new leader and new organisation to deal with the Complaints. The job ads for new leader are are up and running.
The current leaders are liars. Most Wells Fargo customers and investors are complaining about the lies that never end from the part of the Enterprise Complaints Management Office. Wells Fargo is been receiving endless complaints against the leader of the Enterprise complaints management office.
Wells Fargo found no benefits by keeping the ECMO for that Wells Fargo went and set up an overseas Complaints management office to replace the ECMO which will be cheaper and cannot be worse than the ECMO.

@8xta...so, they are not shutting it down but they are shrinking it instead? Hmmmm...so it sounds like all the folks who have been placed in workforce share or mapped into different positions don't have a job in ECMO to go back to.

ECMO is going nowhere. It’s here to stay - you’re seeing groups move to BAU so functions are changing and consolidating to accommodate the go forward, every day work rather than focusing on consent orders.

So, are all the ECMO sites done? Or will certain sites remain up and running?

They’re being replaced by people from the Philippines

Inefficiency is Wells Fargo’s calling card. Run. Get out as fast you can. Inefficiency is a big red flag regarding the lack of leadership and transparency. Not a good bank to work for.

ECMO is largely inefficient because the leaders do not know how to allocate resources properly AND don’t care about employees, have their heads up their snotty a**es and besides…
I take it back, they aren’t leaders. They aren’t qualified to do anything but blow smoke screens, lie, and brag about how well ECMO has done with consent orders or sharps while screwing everyone below them over.
“Oh Thank-you case workers for your hard work! Here’s a temporary job til we lay you off this year. We’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished” FU from the top down of your corrupt lies. I hope everyone quits and cases explode and you got no one to work them.

My team was also pulled into workforce share and we are now a fu**ing call center for customer service until July “supposedly” but we all know we getting laid off because no ECMO to go back to. Lots of us quitting & interviewing for other jobs to get outa there.

My department in ECMO was pulled into workforce share. We were all sent to Customer Remediation. No idea what the future holds. But, it a scary time right now.

@OP, which LOB in ECMO do you see being pulled into “temporary workforce share redeployment”?

Enterprise Complaints Management Office. They centralized the function as part of sales practices work under Scott Powell somewhere. Last I recall there are 7K or so people doing this work, largely too many, inefficient, and lots of errors.
