Workday Compensation Grade

In Workday I am a Compensation Grade 110.
But there is no definition of what this means.
Can someone help, it's easier here thank chashing this down with HR, it'd take them forever to respond.

All you tou need to do is watch the job postings and document the salary range and then look up the associated Compensation Grade in Workday. When the job architecture came into play, I just started tracking the applicable job titles for jobs I might be interested in. It takes like 5 to 10 minutes a day. Eventually, you will have a list and see which titles have the same Comp grades. The comp grades seem to be consistent, regardless of job family.

The problem is all the old "guidelines" appear to have been thrown out the window and your mgr can discretionally offer you anything in the salary ranges..that spread over $100,000. There is no more "midpoint" consideration.

I think it roughly corresponds to the midpoint range for the first 3 digits of your salary.
No idea how broad those bands are.
My guess is that you make "about $110k".

Mid point for 110 in area 002 is ~ 116k. Hr likes to hire at 80-85% of the mid. Hopefully you’re 100ish or greater.
