So just joined a NEO D&I Leadership Workshop that started with a land acknowledgement. I dropped. That’s ridiculous woke nonsense. Peace out.

So did/do Jews, Christians, Muslims…,white, black, Hispanic from this country. We don’t begin work meetings with an acknowledgment of their contributions or a moment of silence. Believe however you wish, but don’t impose your views on me.
There are over 500 Native American tribes recognized by the Government of the United States of America (for over a century) with approximately 3 million American citizens with Native American heritage. They fought proudly in both World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf and Afghanistan. The Native American community supports Veterans, Police, Firefighters and other first responders. You should attend a PowWow and see a Land Acknowledgment (like an opening prayer, a plea for peace, a recognition of all in attendance). You shouldn’t disparage these great Americans. You should thank your deity they are part of our Great Nation.
I equate that to Support our Troops bumper stickers. Does nothing.
Thank you to whoever posted the link to the definition. WTF, that's way too woke for me.

What the heck is a land acknowledgment?
Leadership workshop definitely won't help you. That's for sure.
You should have joined a FUQ A&H Leadership workshop.
