All other things (like pay, PTO and WFH) being equal - Yes.
It would be worth it just to get out from under all the red tape and to actually be able to get some real work done.
No way. I don't believe that the grass is greener on the other side. Remember, a company that is hiring can easily be in the same boat as the one you leave. You REALLY won't know until you work there.
I did. Much higher base, bonus eligible and the same PTO plus additional sick time if needed. I even kept an officer title, not that it makes any difference.

What's does the role/work entail? Do I like the hiring manager or know people there? Is it remote or hybrid?
Are benefits pretty much the same? What about PTO?

I did. Full time WFH and $20,000 more in base pay. There is no bonus, but my bonus last year was like 8% and I had an exceeds rating. I would much rather have the guaranteed money and WFH (and I started with 27 days of PTO). I had taken an internal promotion earlier 6 months prior to starting my search, so I was afraid it might turn some employers away, and maybe it did, but about 6 weeks into my search I was getting a several interview requests a week. If you are looking for more money, look both places. Between the two changes, I am making $40,000 right now than I was in August. Do what works for you!

for the right job I would move for less money. while money is a big motivator, if it doesn't have to be look at what will make you happy or get you where you want to go. sometimes one step backwards can move you two steps forward.

Every single company including bofa cannot meet the salary that WF pays me so no, also many want full time in the office.

Also, the 401k loan is not die when you leave the firm, as long as you don't roll it over. Just set up an auto pay and you'll be golden
I have a loan against my 401k so it’d take a ton for me to quit. Probably a 50% pay increase in base salary.
That will not be happening. Thankfully I like my job quite a bit!
Totally WFH...I would even take a pay cut..
If it was a solid company offering a position I would want, I would absolutely leave for greener pastures.
