Serious question, why does any still work at WF? I don't understand why anyone would still want to work there.
- Constant anxiety over layoffs, pending or threatened. There is NO commitment to employees at all! Zero.
- Anyone can lose their job on any given day or week. Why would anyone want to work at a company that is not committed to them?!
- Billions ($18 billion or so) was spent on fines related to sales practices, risk management failures, etc. then they hire a jerk who harps about reducing expenses. Employees are not assets here, they are expenses. Do you see this paradigm? If not, see head doctor.
- Former executives got rich off the sales practices scandal, the then board (four of who were ousted from their board seats by FRB) let them walk away or retire with millions (i.e. See John's nice home in Arizona he spent millions on for cushy retirement abode), and now who's paying the price!?? The rank and file....constant threat of layoffs, in an organization with numerous known regulatory issues that need all hands on deck, engaged team members to help fix and turn around risk and control infrastructure, reduce issue portfolio.
- I could go on and on, oh I forgot one,
- A CEO who took a job in NYC and wouldn't move to SF HQ but wants others to move or relocate to a hub at their expense when he didn't have to for a job that pays millions. Do you like working for hypocrites? Executives who work from home with special privileges while many others are told to RTO. Indisparate treatment.
- A bloated, bureaucratic org, more meetings and woke-ness, DEI hype than results and execution
