Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

wire fee

I guess people who work in back office doesn't read the alerts or the messengers cause I've been transferred 6 times and nobody has no idea about waiving the fees for customer who does wires online instead of coming to the branch is sad.

Actually people are getting laid off they are quitting! The job sucks and dealing with rude bankers that can’t use their own dang resources everyday sucks! Reading is fundamental

Fiduciary accounts may be opened through the private bank (if Wells even still offers them?) NOT at a branch level sir/mam. You could’ve googled it or looked at the banks website. Sorry the bankers at the branch you went to were so ill equipped and lacked the common sense to know this. Better yet, maybe that branch wasn’t affluent at all and would’ve had no knowledge of the private bank, which would’ve been handled by a premier banker. Lots of branches don’t have licensed bankers who would’ve known this. Regardless, customers should view a banks website for services they offer instead of being gung ho and then complaining about it later.

I tried to open a VA Federal Fiduciary account at WF with no success. Nobody knew how to open it. Now, every person getting VA Aid & Attendance benefits needs one of these accounts so it should be something in the books so to speak. Went to a much, much smaller bank who opened the account same day. Losing knowledgeable workers is one thing. Not even having proper documentation so newer workers can learn is a real problem.

People who work in back office are getting laid off too! Why you think there’s a shortage?! Long wait times?!!! Back office people don’t have the tools they need to be efficient you wanna blame someone blame the incompetent leaders who let this bank fall apart. Wells is shipping customer service to India. No one cares if the customer pays a da@* fee for a service they signed on for clearly stating there would be fees!!!! People are losing their jobs here and know it and have been given dates but yet still expected to pretend to be happy on the phone with rude customers and pretend wells is just great!!! Well fu** that.
