From reading this forum, everybody is finding fully remote jobs that pay 20% or 30% more than here and leaving in droves. I call bu-----t. Finding a remote job that pays the same as the one I have now is nearly impossible, not to mention one that would pay more. I don't know what you get from lying about things like this, but please stop. It's not funny and it's not right.

It’s not lies. Two of my co workers quit and went to Fintechs making more $ and fully remote. Why don’t you learn to use google or Glassdoor.
Pay for a LinkedIn premium account. You can search jobs then filter by remote, etc. The Premium version allows you unlimited people searching which you can use to find the recruiters for the companies/roles you are interested in.
Cobalt? If you are going to try and diss people then at least get the spelling right.

People aren’t lying; I’m sorry you feel that way but there are opportunities out there. I am not in technology and got an offer over 100k more than wells for a ft remote job in risk. I’m not bragging but literally saying it’s true- found the job on LinkedIn. It’s certainly not perfect but wells was a circus anyway so at least I’m making more money at a different circus.

I’m probably aging myself here, but I wanted you all to know that it’s COBOL, not Cobalt.
Wells Fargo and many other companies including our government need cobalt programmers to keep their antiquated systems up and running.
I’m not in tech and I found one. It isn’t hard. Look at firms outside the big 3 or 4.

I don’t know why so many people on this board have to be rude and mean. It’s easy to let your skills languish at WF. We don’t use cutting edge technology and we keep people siloed. You have to be more proactive about it as compared to other organizations. Also, there is zero shame in being a bank teller.
Don’t let these trolls bully you into thinking you deserve to be treated poorly.
You probably won't find remote teller positions so you might be stuck.
If you are truly trapped here, OP ,then use your time to get trained in the skills that are in demand on the current LinkedIn job postings. No one deserves to be disrespected and undervalued the way we are right now by the C-suite. Don’t find yourself in this same position in a year. They will either continue to tighten the screws to make you more miserable or offshore your job entirely.
It definitely depends on the job field. I think fields like tech have a lot of openings, and so therefore probably easier for tech people to find something remote. In job fields like mine, I created a LinkedIn profile, and have been applying for jobs, but have not had success. I have also noticed that there are jobs where I have a lot of the requirements, but might be missing one. It seems like the way Wells Fargo has structured some jobs is not consistent with the same skill set other companies have. For example, in the risk management field, a company might be seeking a person with both risk management experience and IT experience. Also, even though a company might offer remote work, they might still prefer to hire candidates that are in a nearby city.
Software engineering
I am not sure what field you are in, but update your LinkedIn. I’m in tech and I literally cannot keep up with all the interview requests. The market is great right now but you still have to put in some effort into the search to make sure you land someplace you are happy and well compensated. Good luck.
