Larry Fink at Blackrock has his hands up the as--s of WF and wants to force this ESG nonsense on everyone. With 20 trillion dollars between it and Vanguard, it's not about money anymore. It's about pushing an insane leftwing agenda on everyone. A corporate oligarchy that rules us in place of the government.
@1ztg, how would WF know the race of the applicant so they could discriminate against them? This isn't 1990 where you wander into the bank and talk to a loan officer to apply for a mortgage.

The answer is yes, they are. The same ones who deny science, don’t believe in vaccines, yet are the first to run to a hospital to be saved and then put up GoFund Me’s to help with health care or funeral costs. I’m done arguing with them. Let them not believe in science and may Darwinism do what it needs. I’ve truly stopped caring. But don’t ask for my tax dollar to bail you out when your trailer is flooded, your home is blown away, or when they are no jobs in your region. Let the red states fend for themselves.

Climate change and the natural disasters that are unfolding have a huge impact to the financial services industry and eventually taxpayers. When homes en masse are wiped out due to floods and hurricanes… who do you think pays for it? Do any of you have any ability to think beyond yourselves or today?

There's nothing more backwards than lumping millions of unique individuals into arbitrary groups, projecting characteristics upon them based on your biases, and then attempting to control people and pit groups against each other. It's been done by evil people since the beginning. In any event, climate change, temps rising or dropping, is not a racial issue. Just because Mt. Vesuvius blew up and ki---d a bunch of Italians doesn't mean that volcanos are racist against Italian people. Believe it or not, some things, and some people, don't care about race or the primitive fixation on it.

If the sea levels rise dramatically due to melting ice caps, guess who's underwater first? Yes, large swaths of Europe, the US, South America, Australia, and Russia, all of which are places where white people / euro immigrants are a large majority. Who fares best in this scenario? Africa, the middle east, central Asia, etc. Since we all know they aren't worried about white people being impacted by such a thing, explain how exactly this is a "racial justice" issue?
BTW, I'm not particularly a fan of the anthropogenic global warming theory, models based on it routinely fail miserably and some of its biggest proponents keep buying mansions on the beach at 1" above sea level. That said, even if it turns out to be 100% accurate, it will NOT impact "POC" more. It's the exact opposite. This company needs to stop with the clown world BS.

Maybe WF should focus on being a BANK and clearing the fed's orders and cleaning up their reputation from the fake account scandals and most recently publicized mortgage scandal surrounding the black community.
