He threw up the peace sign and headed to Vivant… wasn’t a firing

He was told to leave and no longer needed. He was just overhead anyway that accomplished nothing

He came with DirecTV. Experience in that domain rather than traditional telco - fiber and wireless. Makes perfect sense for him to move on. I admire/envy folks in his spot - they choose/move to optimize their opportunities rather than be tied down to pay mortgage or choose stability. They can afford some chaos/perturbation in their careers. And they benefit.

Patel is still with ATT as the Chief Product and Platform officer. His former role was EVP. Try to keep up and stay current. Otherwise, it makes you sound ignor$nt and your rude comments evident of your real character.

Who's real character is in question after this post...YOURS! Your ignorance and lack of character and consideration is beyond despicable! Try to abide by the COB within ATT for once in your career! The OP had a simple question, that's all! Having a bad day are ya!

He didn't collaborate enough.
His "team" was weak.
Not enough nano degrees.
An affirmative action hire.

He was not able to meet and maintain the metrics required to keep AT&T in business. He was given multiple fair warnings.
