No work. Meetings to have meetings. No decisions on issues. Never seen this before.

Honestly I drank a lot and sent a resume out to a job posting every day
My “team” - I use the term loosely - has been waiting around on a reorg for months. No new work is the pipeline because none of us know where we might end up. It’s a complete waste of time and money.
Sounds like you are rife for being layed off
When I'm in the office I carry a clipboard in my hand when I walk around. It makes me look busy and nobody pesters me.
When I'm at my desk I just tap my mouse every few minutes, or switch to a different window every few minutes. In case they're tracking "computer busy".
My actual work is mostly "busy work" that doesn't matter if it gets done or not. I'm quick at it and usually finished with that stuff inside of an hour if I don't stretch it out. That keeps me off whatever reports they're looking at that day.
You mean what to do in Tech Control ?
I’m with @nyh. I am BURIED!!!
Where do I go to twiddle my thumbs? I’d very much enjoy that respite.
@lwi, I am there with you!! :-)
Pretty sure OP is describing my dept!
I know! I was just going to ask one of my teammates how he keeps busy! Absolutely nothing to do! LOL!
Sounds like Corporate Risk
You want some of my work? I'm probably at 300% of my capacity
I don’t even have meetings. I have half a-s requirements.
I feel this. We have meetings to discuss meetings we just had. We have surveys sent after some meetings to get our opinion on how the meeting went. We have corporate wide ask me anything’s, corporate wide town halls, LOB ask me anything’s, LOB town halls, various training meetings, special interest group meetings, and more. Some days I’ve got 6 or 7 hours filled with just meetings.
