Some of you may get wfh soon

JPM reported a 42% profit loss for first quarter. If a recession happens in the next 6 months, what does WF do?

@1avh, no, it wasn't a "loss". They made $8.3 billion last quarter!

I think OP's point was that if banks continue to have large losses (chases' was 42%), the banks will need to cut expenses. Biggest expense for almost all organizations? Employees. Therefore, you will be home once the recession hits and the banks cut losses.

If you mean layoffs, I would gratefully accept a package.

Working from home on finding a new gig after they lay us all off.

I don't think a recession would make any company reverse RTO. If anything a recession might make Wells lay off even more people even quicker than previously planned.

Not sure how this conclusion was reached, as opposed to there being more layoffs.

Why was their revenue up if there's going to be a recession like you claim? Just because they added a billion dollars of would-be profit to their credit reserve?

There's some circular logic for you. JPM gets hammered on the war so WF let's folks work from home.

They won't let us WFH? What does the recession have to do with Chuckie's antiquated approach to controlling employees?
