That’s how many employees Wells Fargo has. I thought we were laying people off???

This is more employees on staff than when Scharf started with the bank

@1vid+1gevUE5i 30k in US may in fact equal 3k in I and P as it relates to pay (ie, I and P get a fraction of US salaries), but pretty sure it’s AT LEAST 1:1 in terms of headcount

According to page 4 of the 1Q22 supplement deck, total headcount on 3/31/2022 was 246,577.

30k hired in in India? That translates to what, 4, maybe 5k US employees, right?

Tech is affected. Bloodshed is coming. Even if CS is leaving at the end of the month.

Before the year end, teamworks only tracked users in the us, and last count was 248k. For 2 plus years they laid off around 2k a month. Now teamworks has all global users, this helps chuck look better. They did not up and hire 30k.

Numbers will continue to drop in the US and go up in India.

That gets closer, but how does one remove contractors? They are spread all over the place.

"I wonder what the domestic internal headcount is..."

All you need to do is take Charlie's number or total reports and subtract Arindam Banerrji's ~41k total reports.

Say Good-Bye to US jobs as the leadership rewards themselves with efficiency bonuses. Remember, you reap what you sew.

Yeah, contractors and people overseas are part of the total number these days. I wonder what the domestic internal headcount is...

Does this number include contractors?
If you got it from teamworks then it does.

They had to beef up their DIE and Covid response teams, and now we have a doctor on staff.
Absolutely none of this helps the bank or an employee.
