Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Totally secondary things are being rewarded here

The value system is totally disrupted. I agree with the person here who said that creating some stupid video gets more appreciation than doing something really something useful for both customers and the company. Unfortunately, it seems that the leadership is also more concerned with side issues than dedicated to working for the future of this company?

Why do you think people with skills and talent have left?

Layoffs are going to be kept under wraps, will not be disseminated throughout the company or published in the INSIDER. There will be a reduction in headcount, no doubt, but T will try to keep this activity as quiet as possible.

I don't make videos. I don't watch the videos. I don't care. I do my work and collect my paycheck.

This has to do with layoffs because it is a sign of a failing company. Putting the people who make self aggrandizing videos of themselves ahead of the people doing real work, keeping customers happy maked the business lose customers. When we lose customers, we have less money for employees. This leads to layoffs.

If that doesn't make sense to you, there is a good chance that you're in one of those 3-minute videos talking about how awesome you are.
