RTO - LOST PERSONAL ITEMS!!!

Over 2 years ago we left work on a Friday and basically didn't return for over 2 filippin years. We were told not to worry about our "stuff" as it would be boxed up and kept safe until our return.
Welllll....they flippin lied. I haven't found any of my boxes/stuff, at least 3 other people I know can't find theirs and one person, on a whim, went back to her old office in another building and her enture office had NOT been packed up like they said. She had to box it all herself and then get the building folks to take it to her newly assigned buiding/office.
I just checked with the powers that be and the only thing I got in return was a claim form to fill out. I don't want to be reimbursed for MY belongings. I want them back. At this point I'm wondering if anyone's stuff was boxed up or if it was just a free-for-all for the last 2 years with anyone and everyone going in and taking whatever struck their fancy! I trusted the bank when they said they would keep our things safe in this pLandemic. Now I've lost numerous personal items that used to adorn my desk and conference table only to be relegated to a 'first come first served - sterile cube" now!
Not only is the RTO unproductive...it's covering up for the incompetence of the people that we trusted to keep our things safe! Oh and WHO has receipts for picture frames and such? You need them if you want to file a claim to even have them try and look for your things.
I'm sick of this!!!

My new assigned neighborhood has a ton of boxes with people's names on them...not sure who is trying to find out where they belong...

Sorry you lost your wedding photos, adult community soccer trophy, and your Chuck E. Cheese slinky that were all on your desk.

Anything you left in the office on any day could have been missing when you returned the next day. Happened all the time. Even things were taken from locked drawers.

if you lived without those things for two years, you can live a perfectly fine life without them.

Sue them by the way they just pay out on all lawsuits cheaper than fighting them! Just think of what that does for a person who is honest and trying to do the right thing and working their bu-t off to make sure its right ! They don’t even ever check it !!!

I left the bank. Filled in a form for my stuff over a month ago and I'm still waiting to be "contacted". I called the person in charge of the office moves for my old building & the phone number is disconnected. I think I made the right decision leaving if I can't even get my notepads and personal effects back. If the bank can mess anything up, it will.

Just go to the old location. I didn’t find my stuff there today, but whoever finds it can use it as a paperweight.

They boxed up my belongings, but not everything. I am wondering if I should see if they are still at the old location. I don't know how to do that though.

My stuff is still sitting in my old location. Hasn’t been touched. I’m getting a friend to box it up and get it to me. I don’t need some random stranger packing my stuff. They simply can’t do anything right here.
