Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

The VP Business Model is Archaic

The VP business model is archaic and is the primary reason Oracle is failing.

The world has evolved from fear management. Japanese management style works, which has been around for decades. It's not rocket science. It's simple team building and supporting a company's greatest asset, employees.

A success company will put employees before customers. Oracle does not seem to care about employees or customers. First it takes good management and if, Oracle does not change the current management style then, employees do not have a chance and the company will continue to fail. Both are required in order to build a good customer base.

Delivery of good product, service and the right pricing are required in order, to attract customers. Orcale does not seem to understand market analysis. Product development is clueless of what it takes to make product for market price point that, works and does what it says it will. The VP business model style of cheating and lying is a cancer that needs to be removed.

Oracle relies DB customer subscription list. period. Do they think they will really purchase product that does not work? Some will but, when it fails and they purchase some else they make a lot of noise. Most company's have procurement specialists. Oracle is not in touch with the market or anything. Oracle needs to hire the right consulting firm to change everything.

Product Development is not working. Rolling out products that are outdated that do not work, that are over priced and advertised with components that do not exist is a sure sign of desperation to roll out something quickly for an immediate slight stock increase that, will fall when product fails.

To develop product that does not work and testing obviously does not exists, repeatedly is a sure sign that, nobody cares And to repeat this, is stupidity. It is unreal how costly this slow su----e that affects everybody. It is a lose, lose. It is unbelievable. Better not to put anything out there than, something that will fail. A good Product Development manager would not allow junk.

Failed product development is the greatest costs for Oracle and it's reputation. It takes years to build a good name. It takes one product that does not work to destroy that name. How many products has Oracle rolled out that has failed.

Questions: Does Oracle want to succeed? Does anybody care?

If so, why are all of things happening?
