@2hkp+1gS38frP The 5 weeks for everyone would have an effect on 56% of the unionized workforce.
ha...31 years and counting in the manholes and self respect. 22 1st levels in that time and at least 12 deuces and still counting, what a joke!
Another triggered unioner. So easy to make them mad....yawn...better take your blood pressure meds 🤡
2aiq: better than your life or I doubt you would have such anger in your posts. Also, I don't eat fast food, unlike you, so your insults are futile on me.
Dang 25 years piloting that bucket truck through the McDonalds drive through. What a waste.
Many of us recently hit 25 years and finally got that fifth week, so that fifth week does nothing for most of us. Instead, do better on the Saturday scheduling. 15 percent is an insult. 50 percent differential, or end Saturdays entirely.
Sad part is this is the layoff only people that get layoffs are management. I been around for decades In the union and honestly it's gonna get extended with WFH watch new rules etc moving forward this is 2022 June folks we are not going backwards 12% increase in pay for union over 5 years extra week between 7 and 15 years svc added. So hence the 5th week people keep talking about
That's right because we need the europeans who are most responsible for the calumny that is Africa to tell us how to live. Time for the World Economic Forum and euro trash V Teamers to pack and go home. They have done enough damage here!
For me it's not a pro- or anti-union stance. If union members feel they are better represented in union solidarity via their union reps, and feel that the way to get maximum compensation/benefits via a strike, I think that they have more societal support for it than any time in decades as societal sentiment is currently leaning heavily on support for unions. At the same time I can also selfishly hope for a strike because I very much enjoy EWA assignment for change of pace, travel, and of course the huge monetary windfall that comes with having an already bloated salary be augmented w/time and a half after 10 AM on Thursdays thru the rest of the week. Even though admittedly our 'management'(I manage nobody, but I'm a manager in their parlance) EWA work is a nothing burger with regards to volume of work, level of competency, lots of basic non-skilled grunt work to keep us busy so we don't sc--w up and REAL stuff, I'm OK with VZ thinking that doing that during a strike somehow shows 'We're Fine' while everything is backlogged and nothing REAL gets done...if VZ thinks that's what it conveys, and that's the plan, I'm eager to hit the road again for #3 EWA during my tenure. Some things work for union and non-union, and for me if union strikes and gets additional benefits while I bank an extra $10-15000 on a paid field trip, it's win-win.
Plenty of spares and copper pairs. We getting that extension!
Xhr
You haven't seen me, numb-Knuts... Just keep wishing for others to fail, as you have. Misery loves company.
"We've stopped posting on here a few years back" - Then why do I continue to see these worthless union shill posts? why are you on here?
Talk to your coworkers. They have the scoop. We've stopped posting on here a few years back due to the kiddies who took over "potatoes and corn" type posts. All info relayed before and after work at work sites.
No one will know until the three weeks are over. The union is always tight lipped about these things and no one ever hears anything, including union stewards.
yahoo!!
contract extended to 2099
Excited to see unionless Verizon 3.0 in 2023!
