Why is RTO more important than Safety?

Now every day we hear about at least an outbreak in one of our locations. Why the strong desire for keeping the RTO in place on the expense of employees wellbeing and safety?
What are they waiting for? What are their expectations?

Amazing how frequent rare viral infections have become since December if 2020. If only we could figure it the cause.

Hmm, so you are telling me there is an outbreak of something (Covid, Monkeypox, Ebola, He---s, whatever) but I am expected to continue to RTO after successfully working remotely for 2 years because “we are better together” but wear a mask, stay socially distant and don’t interact with others. Uh huh.

Because one will convince you to quit and one won't.

BOLI (Bank Owned Liability Insurance)

“Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) is a tax efficient method that offsets employee benefit costs. The bank purchases and owns an insurance policy on an employees life and is the beneficiary. Cash surrender values grow tax-deferred providing the bank with monthly bookable income. Upon the employees death, tax-free death benefits are paid to the bank.”

  • in layman’s terms, we all have policies payable to the bank upon our deaths. No need to lay us off. Keep us miserable and in place, and pad your pockets when Covid comes knocking. It’s not like they were going to replace us. They want to downsize without paying severance. Why not profit while they’re at it?
