Micromanaged to the very last detail

Does anybody ever want to ask their manager to do their job for them since they're already micromanaging it to the very last detail?

Yep, my manager does exactly that, nothing gets done and she's not the sharpest tool in the shed. She goes to all her direct reports to get the answers to the test then takes the credit. She got rid most of the good employees so she wouldn't be threatened. Dep:admin.

Is this happening to anyone else?

  1. Boss is asked to improve efficiency and asks team for process improvements.
  2. Boss shoots down every suggestion.
  3. Team gets further and further behind due to inefficient processes. Repeat step 1.
