Why am I having to pay $165 a month to simply PARK? What company doesn’t even pay for their employee’s parking??!!? Also I have to drive 50 miles round trip and gas just hit $4.40 a gallon and is still rising here. I’m getting stressed and don’t know what to do. Talk to my manager? Does WF offer financial assistance?

My god. Cost of living is suffocating people, the average price of college has gone up exponentially, people can no longer afford homes. Even so, all these bootlickers on here being so hateful. If wealth was a spectrum, all of y’all would be wayyyyyy closer to the intern making $28 an hr than the billionaire. Wake up folks, you’re making their jobs of opppressing thr middle class way way too easy.
Management here is pure sc-m. Worst I’ve ever seen after 15 + years on the street. This RTO nonsense needs to be shut down immediately. It benefits nobody and talent is fleeing left and right. This place is a dumpster fire and getting worse by the minute. Get out while you can.

I agree with much of what you're saying, but as someone that started out making under $5/hr early in my career, "out of touch" seems like a stretch. There's also ways to pay for college that don't involve loans, or greatly decrease the amount that needs to be borrowed. Just saying.
I know this isn’t a ton of help, but I was under the impression there’s a way via the bank to get your parking expenses written off your taxes. Check with HR. It doesn’t save you all of the cost but it will effectively save you whatever your marginal tax rate is x 165 per month.

Damn some of y’all are ruthless. I get this post. I’m straight out of college. I don’t have significant savings at all. I work in corporate and the company pays me $24 an hour. I have several student loans because my family doesn’t come from money. My rent was raised 25% due to inflation. Energy is up. Gas is up. I had to trade in my car. My leftover money each month goes to groceries.
The money it takes for commuting may be easy for some of you. Some of you don’t have to think twice about another $500+ a month. But expenses are relative. And for some, they don’t have that. Inflation may not be a threat to you, but to others it is majorly affecting their lives. People need to look outside their high salaries and realize not everyone has the same financial situation or stability. Having the expenses to commute is a privilege. A lot of people are out of touch with what the common lower workers make.

It's very normal for companies to kot pay for parking. However, they do offer pretax opportunities.
Contact EAC. They might be able to refer you to local organizations that can help. Some electric companies offer financial assistance for low-income citizens, for example.
