I don't get it. That's obviously the biggest issue for most of us right now. It affects us in so many ways and this is the one place where we can share our annoyances, disappointments, and worries with people who're going through the same thing. Even if it's about the same thing as several previous posts, it's people venting. Let them do it. How hard is it to simply skip something that's not of interest to you?

People have no sense of irony and love to whine about....whining. Some of it is also likely from people who have the attention span of a gnat and can't be productive at home - yet don't realize they're not productive at the office either. It just "seems" that way since they're sitting at a corporate-owned desk, and they can convince themselves they're not worthless. You've all surely worked with that one person who spends their whole day bugging everyone else.
Different strokes for different folks,exactly. Which is why this should be at manager’s discretion and flexible. Whining? Sc--w those that think so. I was a manager and set up RTO agreements for some team members in Charlotte back when there was no space and they were being asked to share cubes, etc, now they are being called back into the office. For me, all for going into the office and I did when some of my team was collocated. But if no TMs are at the same office, there is 0 point, wastes my time and money on commuting expenses, and puts carbon emissions into the air unnecessarily, all for the sake of “RTO” when in fact I go into the office, sit at a desk and get on calls with people around the country just like I do and can from home. Needing to interact with 0 people there. That’s the issue. Some jobs you have to do from the office, some teams are collocated, all makes sense. But if not, you should be able to CHOOSE if you want to go in, as some people do. For those that don’t and don’t physically need to be there, they should be permitted to keep working and being more productive at home, to produce results, vs. RTO stats.

Just a guess, but I think those types of posts come from 2 main groups: those that never left the office (who probably do view it as a bunch of whining / crying) and people who just love working in-office. I don't degrudge either group for having their opinions. For us, it's a major issue, for them it's not. Different strokes for different folks. I won't go into their threads and try to shut them down.
Low tolerance for whining I guess. It gets really old really quickly. Don't like it .. leave.
