Over the years T has bragged about being the highest paying company for many jobs when in reality, most companies are paying about 5-10% more a year than T in most cities.

We pay poorly but have a lot of idle workers driving up total cost
overtime grasshopper, simply make it known your willing, be available any time and say yes. it helps if you do a good job. I always told my apprentices let the money chase you, relax between gigs
Any one with a decade or more of service is likely overpaid. Not sure what the new shills get. Please provide one union or management title to prove otherwise
yep this is true and didn't find it out until I left.
T employees are the best paid in the industry. Nuff said!
The toads in the swamp have no idea what the real world pays
Stoopid post. Nobody has a higher cost structure than T. We pay very, very, very well in nearly all instances. Almost always higher than actual market value across the board. If that’s one thing I can say about T, it’s that I’ve never felt “underpaid”. Not ever. If you think you are underpaid at T, then you’re living in fantasy land. Nobody I’ve ever met working here, who left the company voluntarily or involuntarily, made more money working a similar job function outside the company. Nobody.
Disgruntle worker trying to make stuff up.
They used to get away with lower pay with the promise of pension and lifetime benefits. Those days are gone. I guess people stay because the work environment is so awesome lol.
OP is wrong.
Customers who are too stupid to see AT&T on the truck sometimes ask if I'm with CATV.
I correct them.
They 80% of the time then say "What's the difference" trying to be funny.
I say "$19 bucks an hour."
What jobs are you referring to? I am way over paid and hanging on as long as I can.
