Look at the destruction Hays oversaw in WIM. Dismantled the entire Private Bank! Not easy to do. Is anyone happy in that division? What will the future look like?

I often wonder how many of these exits are forced or of their own volition. Legacy Wells Fargo leaders leave everyday.
I never liked Hays, but I’m not sure how much blame to allocate towards him for the current state of WIM. I think it’s more like he was just the latest in a string of ineffective and uninspiring “leaders”. He inherited a bad situation and failed to turn it around.
With that said, all of the people coming on here to complain from Private Bank need a reality check. PB has always been a thorn in the side of WIM. What part of “redundant job functions “ don’t you all understand? They always ignore that WFA has a larger volume of high net worth clients with their own suite of resources dedicated to these client relationships.
Can’t blame it all on Jim Hays. Sol Gindi will be coming in to clean it up. Does anyone think he is coming in to continue what Jim Hays has been doing, don’t think so.
Welker got exposed the minute they took the brokerage revenue out of his business. WBS was paying for all the over paid un profitable trust officers, wealth advisors, and RMD’s and everyone else.
Jim had nothing to do with The Private Bank. I guess that shows your ineptitude. The Private Bank was also the most bloated area of WIM. Welker's baby was exposed as soon as he "retired."
Does anyone in WIM/WFA even have a clear vision of the org structure above them at this point? There have been so many changes, so many have left, spans and layers is a sham, there are straight lines and dotted lines from employee A or department A to managing director B. Leadership of WIM and WFC is a (bad) joke.
Charlie and our leadership couldn’t have destroyed the business more if they had tried. Someone should study it all, when the bank collapses, as the top example of “what not to do”.
If the current administration keeps wrecking the country, there won't be a need for WIM at all. No one will have any money.
He and Karanik have devastated our brokerage firm. It’s in complete shambles.
In the future there is no WIM. Watch.
Did so much damage.
Hays is a yes-man, WIM's current situation is evidence of that.
