Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Outbreak at 1 Wells Charlotte office

Multiple confirmed cases of Covid at 1 Wells Fargo. Management trying to keep it as quiet as possible. My scumbag manager tells anyone who refuses to RTO for fear of getting sick that they will be charged a PTO day. And they wonder why everyone is racing for the exits? What a disgusting company.

My daughter is a registered nurse in North Carolina. She told me that during the last couple of months there were no Covid patients in the hospitals in the area she works in.
However that news from her did change recently, last week. She told me Covid was making a comeback in the NC hospitals lately.

Safe and highly effective. What's the problem exactly? It is highly effective, right?

Same thing in Fremont. Due to hotel seating they did not let us know what building or what floor. Bay Area is now encouraging masks again.

@xxf+1gKhFutJ are you sick? If so, you can stay home. It's like when the Ukraine/Russia conflict started, we had people on here saying WF should let people work from home because nuclear war could break out.

Multiple outbreaks in San Francisco and Concord offices. So many emails about outbreaks, it's dizzying.

WF doesn't give a sh!t about its employees and is ONLY notifying staff of outbreaks because OSHA requires it. WF's initial plan was NOT notifying staff. Appalling.

@qwx+1gKhFutJ, What if you have rational fear though? I’m guessing you think there’s no such thing.

people use self diagnosed symptoms as an excuse to WFH. What goes around comes around!!!

@trb+1gKhFutJ so if you're sick you can wfh, but if you have irrational fear, you have to to rto? What's the problem?

@cue. If you are in California contact the California State Labor Board.

@trb+
I was never told i could work from home and my floor was listed in the OSHA required notification. And as for RTO, i see people jumping ship daily in my area. They can't even keep people here. I laughed when my manger told i had to be in 3 days or have a reason. This is right after telling me just hours before that 2 people in my group were leaving the bank.

Just to clarify, those that tested positive were allowed to WFH. But those of us that sat near them and were concerned that we too may be sick/become sick were informed we could either come into the office or take PTO.

Fake news. You're running out of excuses for RTO and will soon be in the unemployment line.

Same in SF. They told us about 1 case, then a week later they said OSHA told them they had to inform employees at the location there was a "outbreak" because there were like 10 confirmed cases where people got covid at that location in prior 14 days. I wasn't to happy with management not having enough respect and concern to tell employees there about cases 2-10. And we still were told to be in the office 3 days a week or ELSE. The management team wonders why employees have so little respect for them, not only are they lazy and stupid, but they don't give a rats a-s about our health.

I don't know where your boss gets that information. WF policy is to stay home until you no longer test positive and not display symptoms.
