Seriously. What we had was awesome. Now all we get is virtual classes.

We have so much required training in my area we half-seriously-joke about becoming full time students. I'm not even talking about the required DevelopYou courses. I'm talking proctored exams that the company pays for that require weeks of study. There's also over 50 hours of videos to watch (some have quizzes at the end) and our year-end performance objectives are tied to them. I've had peers take PTO just to study and get through them. It's ridiculous.

Not true. It is now blended learning strategy. Some are classes and some are web-based learning depending on the topic.
