Empower is managing the WF 401k program. What options we have to invest in are Wells Fargo's decision. Empower has tons of other investment options available to other firms.

I rolled mine over and got out of the Wells plan. I also got out of Wells!

I am getting hammered, 24 percent down, year over year
Averaging a < 5% annualized loss while getting to sock my funds away at lower prices. A temporary loss in the market doesn't bother my 401k one bit. Not everyone's timeline is as short as yours.
Empower is not great. I wish we had more options.
