"Dang where was this thread when the stock was knocking on the $60 door in Jan/Feb? Oh didn’t fit the narrative?"

And how long did that last? It was a spike.

Closed at $43.97 and the dividend yield is garbage. Great job on those share buybacks at $50+ a share. C-suite is the Clown suite at WFC

Yeah, but his Visa stock is doing great since he gave his old buddies a ton of business.

The asset cap still not being lifted and wells basically having to beg to do PPP loans is damning . I remember there was speculation about Charlie just coming in to slim the company. I’m starting to think that’s true

It is high time that the CEO goes to work at corp HQ in SF. Ever heard of RTO Charles the hypocrite? He is the worst!

@zeh - Sorry, goosing the stock price for a couple days doesn’t count for anything. Nice try though Chuckie!

Now get off this site and DO SOMETHING ALREADY!! Meaning, get off your a$$ and actually work!

@rrg+1gDJtZJZ - This is not the baseline of the rest of the market or our competitors. Just take a look at the performance charts and you will see a clear difference in Wells Fargo’s performance, or lack thereof.

Chuckie needs to be given a swift kick in the A$$ on his way out the door! Money-grubbing, no-talent rich boy is all he is.

The Board doesn't care if every employee hates his guts as long as he cuts expenses, reduces regulatory issues, and improves bottom line. This is Wall Street, they don't give a dam about any of you.

I don’t think much of it.

Is the asset cap lifted? That’s the only thing that matters, and right now, the answer is still “no.”

I don't like Charlie, but this completely ignores the baseline of the rest of the market, there was a pandemic that tanked the global economy.

The board loves Charlie. He's unfortunately not going anywhere.
