lol, ok. This kind of thinking is the result of a psyop experiment. The government spent two years telling people to hate other people who didn't do EXACTLY what they were told. They wanted to see just how much control they have, which as it turns out is quite a bit. In any case, even if no one left there house for 2 months, not a single person, it wouldn't eradicate this disease. It can be carried by animals, and it can be carried by humans in other countries. There never was, and never will be, a 2 weeks to bend the curve attempt that would work. Ever. It's literally impossible, and the government knew this when it deployed that "line". And yet they said it anyway, and the media conveyed it anyway. At some point, you should ask yourself why exactly they did that. Hint: it isn't for our collective health, because they don't give a damn about that.

If masks didn't work you wouldn't be here arguing that they don't.

Everyone must evaluate their own risk. If being in person with others is not tolerable to you, you'll need to find a WFH position. The types of masks people have been using the last couple of years are more theater than practical protection. I mean if masks could cure the problem "2 weeks to bend the curve" would have actually lasted 2 weeks.

Same situation here...immune compromised family members at home. I don't qualify for an RTO exemption for family members. My manager knows my situation. I'm not RTOing, but assume at some point my manager will be pressured to try to enforce it. Also looking for remote roles outside Wells.

WF did the right thing canceling these mandates. Whoever thinks that it was too soon or it was a wrong approach can continue wearing masks and add endless number of boosters to their collection.
People most likely will respect social distancing if they will see that someone is still wearing a mask.
