Last part of Powell's RTO update today said the vax mandate for business travel has been lifted. What made them decide this now? I thought this was a core part of making things safe for RTO.

I noticed the booster message. Why are they asking? I thought the science says it is endemic now. Are they going to require testing of the unboosted now?
Recent enterprise Corp. Comm. email asked (did not require) staff to enter their booster vaccine info. Don't trust how the info will be used in decision-making. Has anyone else entered their booster info?
If the vaccine does not stop the spread, why mandate it? If it saves on medical expenses, why just focus on Covid? Why not mandate for other vaccines etc.?
"Vax is not helping with the prevention of the spread." - FFS. The vaccine prevents hospitalization and death. It does not stop the spread.
Trying to understand the logic here. Slowly are finding out the real science. Vax is not helping with the prevention of the spread. That is a fact! Why would you require contractors and employees to vax when you can go back into the office and still get covid?
Some people took the first vax trying to protect themselves and others but refuse to take the boosters due to the current science. You WILL lose a lot of employees if you force the boosters or vax. I have talked to numerous employees on this topic and none are willing to do the boosters.
@lnk They better lift the testing requirement, and ASAP. That is 100% willful discrimination against a group employees who made a particular medical decision for themselves. It's no different than if they used the info HR has on your lifestyle preferences (for those who answered that question in the system), and demanded those folks take an HIV test every week -- that, too, would be horrible discrimination. Both are wrong.
Because they noticed how many critical people that travel refuse to vaccinate. Testing requirements will probably go away too as a lot of other firms drop it as well
most locales have dropped restrictions, so it clears out liability issues
Guidelines are changing and info on the efficacy of the vaccine is becoming more available. This is actually a great thing
I’m wondering if they will lift the testing requirement.
