I resigned in November. When my group was restructured and I was asked to take on more and get paid less etc etc. i landed someplace better blah blah blah. Anyways we are now on the threshold of March and they still haven’t sent me my personal items. So a sold 4 months. Fun times. Just wanted to share my experience with wells. Just one more reason why I was so happy to leave after being there for just shy of 2 years.

When Wells Fargo returns my things that were in and around my assigned desk at the time we were told to not RTO, they will find all of their pens, paper clips, stapler, paper pads, etc. among the stuff. I never took the office stuff home with me while working remotely, when I was allowed to do so. I had plenty of pens and paper, etc. purchased at
my own expense, laying around the house, and still do. I DO want my pictures with the frames back though.

You should ask your manager. They are responsible for making arrangements to have your personal items returned. Maybe your manager did not know how to go about this. No process is easy.

I never have anything personal at any desk. Not even a charging cord. When I leave for the day with my computer bag, you'd never know I was sitting at the desk.
I always laugh at people who litter their desks with personal momenta: photos of their dogs, kids, certificates, awards, etc.
In all of my 40+ working years, I have never kept anything of personal value in my office.
Always be prepared to walk away and never look back.
I saw the writing on the wall a little before they forced us out, and took all my personal stuff(not much to begin with) home. So the only cr-p left that I didn't throw away is wf documentation junk that is essentially thrown away too.
oh, maybe a quarter in one of the drawers, but that I imagine is long gone.
I know this isn't helpful to the OP, but I went into the office back in November when they invited us for early return for the very reason of retrieving my personal items. That way if they packed up my junk to move me, laid me off, or I quit, I won't have anything there.
I hate to say this, but I doubt you will ever get your personal items. I am worried about getting mine and I am still employed with them. It is like they are holding them hostage. I had wanted to go in months ago to retrieve them and they won't let you. You have to wait until the official RTO date. Why? You are allowed to go into the office prior to that official date to work. Why can't you get your personal items? I really question what is going on with this.
Now, they are distributing videos on RTO. It is ridiculous. Can they spend any more money on this useless/wasteful scheme? I guess it keeps the SP dork employed.
You are lucky you resigned. I would just try to let your personal items go. I know that is hard, but it is what I am going to have to work on if I don't ever get mine.
