I never used to dread work as I do now. The idea of Monday being tomorrow is ruining my Sunday. I work in a relatively small town in a branch, so I don't have an easy option to change banks. I also can't afford to move. If I could, I'd be long gone by now. The saddest part of all this is I used to love my job.

Morrissey is a douche but his lyrics are sadly fitting:
"Armageddon, come Armageddon!
Come, Armageddon! Come!
Everyday is like Sunday
Everyday is silent and grey"
Left a few years ago after working more than a decade for BB&T. This post really resonated with me because I felt exactly the same way during the last couple years there. There really is life after BB&T/SunTrust/Truist, and it is great! No credit unions or hometown banks nearby? They generally have less turnover, value their employees, are better staffed and safer, have better technology, and address problems in a timely manner. Move heaven and earth until you find an employer who recognizes your value. Godspeed.
Everybody hates Sundays, thinking about the h*ll whole this place has become. Mondays are the worst. Little clutches of evil people thinking about how to make the rest of us suffer.
