They don't have to fire everyone at once. They begin to shave off members of each group. Create divisions by praising someone during a meeting and totally ignoring the contributions of other employees. In one-on-ones, use phrases like "i was worried for you, but Bob has let me down. i think you'll be ok." and "I can't believe what some people try to get away with. It's disappointing." Create friction on the team. A few weeks go by, introduce a new employee and fire two more. Shift work to the employees that have been here the longest so that it takes 12 hours a day to complete. It's about breaking the employee morale. WF doesn't need to fire everyone at once. It can be a trickle. Eventually, the whole team will be replace.

False.
Actually they would and those wfh can expect to be let go within a few months …
They would fire us all. This is WF. Making the right decision for the company based on facts is not in their repertoire. Wish I could say differently, but I’ve lost all confidence with these senior execs (leadership would be a misnomer).
never say never
70 or 80 percent might be ambitious, because you'll always have some people that talk the talk but don't follow through.
But I think 50 percent is realistic. Just from my team, we've got a third of us that live way out, and a commute would take half a day. Those people couldn't come in if they wanted. And they don't want to in the first place.
Of the 2/3 of the people who live close in, every one of them in my group says they are not going to come in. If even half of them follow through............
I can tell you this for sure. I promise not to come in. I am very good at my job, and I have a unusual skill set that would be hard to replace. Yes they could replace me, but not quickly, and it would cost them. They hired me 100% remote, and I do not accept them tearing up that written agreement that they signed their name to.
Just do what you're told.
If everyone in the world sent me $1 I would be a billionaire.
Sure they can... because the majority are full of hot air and it'll only be the few that don't show up
Ok you go first…
If i had a teleport machine, imagine the time i could save. Just saying.
Just saying.
