Pretty sure it wasn't bernie. Even socialists don't like communists. It takes a special kind of stupid to praise a despot like putin and former guy was, if very little else, a special kind of stupid.

This means just appreciate what you still have and RTO if you must. Droves are fleeing Ukraine right now where nowhere to go and here we are whining about RTO.
@khe, well said. I will not go back. And when I go back to retrieve my belongings that they are holding hostage, I will dump my laptop on whatever desk that is available and hopefully I don't run into the gossip bully, so I don't have to say fu on the way out.

Comparing a war zone with RTO? Are you kidding? It’s like saying getting up in the morning is easy because we’ve been to the moon. Get a life, perspective is local.

War in 21st century between more or less civilised countries is a shame and horror.
RTO has nothing to do with this war and has no impact on what ppl think about RTO in US. RTO sucks and inconvenient. Ppl are pi---d that they are treated like third class by bunch of C-Suite not very smart leaders.
No actually it emphasizes more importantly that life is short, and we should have a work life balance that promotes healthy lifestyles. We don't want to go back to grey cube walls of dust with no view of the outside to sit for 8 hours on phone calls when it can be done from anywhere. We lose our walking desks, we lose pet interaction, we lose healthy meals, we lose economic power with loss of disposable income spent towards worthless clothes. We gain stress, lost time, coworker rudeness, constant interruptions, increased costs to be "social" like office parties etc. Sitting on a floor amongst 400 other people in a bay environment is no way to live.
