If they close your child’s school, that is absurd. Take it up with the school committee and/or the municipality.
Covid is NOT over yet. It is just a temporary lull in the eye of the hurricane.
Why does everybody these days think about a handout at the first change in any adverse event, no matter how minor (And this is about as minor as it gets)?

take a look at your ca paid sick leave allocation in workday. accrual rate works out to 72 hrs per year, they take those hours from your regular pto bucket so they are in compliance and you don't get any extra time.

Its called using PTO.
