I'm a 15 year Wells employee but my only personal account with the bank is our mortgage. All my other personal accounts are with BofA and always have been. I've never intentionally done anything nefarious with my accounts and would never knowingly break any personal banking rules Wells may have for their employees, but I don't want my employer to have direct access and oversight of my accounts.
Way back in the day, a previous manager of mine told me a story about how he had to can an employee who was floating deposited checks in ATMs. Said she was a great employee who was told by a friend if the money would be there when the checks were cashed, they wouldn't bounce so it was no big deal. HR didn't care, said it was an ethics violation, and made him can her.
