The real story is that companies are starting to wake up to what the public expects from those in control of the economy.

Large corporations pretending to care about the environment and diversity is driven by ESG (Extortion Supporting Globalism), a tool to control firms and, consequently, populations using CCP-style social credit scoring. ESG scoring score is arbitrarily determined by a politburo.

@1nke People like that should be terminated swiftly and with extreme prejudice. Nothing to do with Covid, except that it made it easier for those few bad actors. Their behavior should have been noticed in 2018 or 2015 or whenever they were first allowed to do it. Thankfully this sort of deadbeat employee is in the vast minority but sadly they do exist. They are exceedingly easy to weed out, however, and they should be. Immediately.

whats your problem going back to the office? Afraid they will see how much you’re actually not working? Don’t want to miss watching tv all day? Doing laundry, cutting grass, ignoring your job all on company dime? How do yiu go to grocery store? Go out to eat? Shopping? Get over it already. Covid has made you lazy.

They should pay carbon credits for all who commute to and from the office. For only those positions that could be accomplished remotely.

If all the hubs are in larger cities, I'd assume there is public transportation so you don't have to drive. Either way, why does nobody care about going green until it suits their narrative like, I don't want to go back to work. The only green anyone cares about is money.

You could also substitute rich for the company, then you'll see if a lot of those investments stop accruing gains, then the companies go under and you don't have a job

The “plan” is for us to drive expensive gas cars, likely with car loans, with more expensive car insurance from their buddies, so we can buy things near their office buildings, all while using copious amounts of gas for their buddies in the oil industry, also while justifying their real estate investments,
and utilizing all the tax breaks they can.
