I was sadly impacted today. 16 years with the company and was told this morning my role was being eliminated. Off payroll 3/11. Very shocked.

Me too. 11+ years and they only give 30 days. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to who they picked other than they went solely by demographics or it was a random draw. It definitely wasn't performance based. There's a round every 3 years.
Operations is one of the worst positions to to be in for this company. One minute they need ops people the next they don't. Rinse and repeat. Been happening like this for years.
You’re wrong, @1aeo+1fftg04h.
Not all of the jobs were under the WFPA umbrella. Not even close to all of them were in WFPA.
Nor were they all band 8. There were a lot of 7V and even 6V impacted.
On the operations side, there were a lot of people who got laid off, they were given until 3/11 to find other jobs within or be let go.
The jobs all were under the wfpa umbrella. All people let go appear to be band 8
Fake news guy is an HR knob polisher.
Fake News!!!
Did you get a severance?
I am not OP but this is true. It wasn’t any specific title or group that was impacted as a whole. It seemed totally random within consumer ops (care and retail). 30 days and done. Not even the normal “we give 90 days to apply for other opportunity”
Yeah give us more information. From what I gathered it was a lot of operation roles in customer service, telesales and even upwards for office based ops.
Sorry. Sounds like one of the ops positions eliminated today. It was a good run while it lasted.
You got to give us more info, Position, Location, Band V?
What was your position?
