Don’t forget he’s just another spoiled rich kid that only got his jobs because mommy and daddy were friends with Jamie Dimon and they begged him for a favor to hire their brat. Silver spoon Chucky has never had to actually network in his life and doesn’t know squat about being in a cubicle.

Actually it’s a mutually beneficial relationship. “Tale wagging the dog” and “out comes the stick” are terms from the 1980s. Unless, of course, Charlie knows how to do the jobs of a:

I think a lot of people commenting on RTO seem to misunderstand the nature of the relationship. The tail doesn't wag the dog. They'll try to be as accommodating as possible while still meeting the objective of getting back to normal but after a while, when the carrot doesn't work, out comes the stick. I don't want to go back either but at some stage, I'll have to do it or leave.

I’m guessing you’re just trolling, wanting to stir the pot. Because I don’t know anyone who falls for that “corporate speak” which I’ll bet even Charlie recognizes is pure political bs. They have to come up with some kind of sales pitch to get employees back in to the office, because there is no logical justifiable reason to cram everyone back in together.
Charlie can’t brag to investors on one hand about how well the bank is doing (while we’ve been WFH for most of his reign), and then spin some bs on the other hand about how we all need to RTO in order for business to proceed properly. Use your head.

Managers have been instructed to not vocalize it if they do not support RTO. Most of them don’t want to go in the office either.
The sucking up is real at Wells Fargo. In our LOB, we have guys and gals who change their style and dress exactly the same as their bosses. Women buying the same designer shoes and purses and going to the same workout classes; guys buying the same ties, joining the same country clubs, glad-handing the higher ups.
I have always admired individuals who confidently plot their own course, and I don’t have much respect for followers.
