How much does WF disclose when you start interviewing externally? Simply that you did work there or is it job titles, pay, etc.? Also, based upon this off boarding personal information, will it really flag if I send my resume to myself?

who cares, if have that much time, perhaps they are overstaffed
Again, why bother with all that.
Ctrl+P, done.
Don't like hard copy? Take a pic with your phone.
Dont send resume as attachment. Paste into body of email. they are allowing a one time only send of documents to home email AND your manager has to review and approve the docs included in that send - including resumes. This is a new policy going in 1/23.
You can have a resume on your computer. this is acceptable personal info per the policy and email. you have this month to send it to yourself if you want to include it in the offboarding file. it will only flag and get blocked if it has a ssn or other sensitive info. it should be fine to send to yourself at a later date but they will know (obviously).
VOE is handled by a third party and only discloses limited info.
Wells directs inquiries to TheWorkNumber.com - you can lose your job for giving someone an actual reference.
@ula That's impressive. Especially in the financial industry. My past three gigs have had extensive background and credit checks run on me, and they've verified my employment every time.
Also they don’t care about your resume emailing.. I send mine regularly to myself when I have updates made to it. I send it unsecured and to my personal email. No biggie or maybe I’m just too low level to care
Why bother emailing your resume to yourself? You have to go through the whole encryption song and dance, and even then you'll likely get talked to about it.
Why not just print it and retype it on your personal device? It's much easier to make a single sheet of paper walk out the building than a set of bits.
That's the irony of this place. You'll get in trouble for sending your own personal information to yourself via fully encrypted and protected digital means, but a physical copy can walk right out the door. If security were like "hold on, we need to check your bag" they wouldn't even think about your personal resume sitting in the bag.
Most if not all HR departments will tell the person calling, when they worked, if they were FT or PT and that's about it. If you were fired, nope they will not say that.
Name, rank, serial number. By law they can't disclose anything else.
WF doesn't disclose anything when you interview externally. You have to authorize release of your information via The Work Number.
I've NEVER had anyone call WF to verify my employment.
