Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

First HUM, then Credit Card, then VZ HOME, Now 5G Home

how many times does your clown I mean manager excuse me ask you if you offer 5G Home internet? If you see the Banner you MUST sell it!

I see about half being returned because 5G technician says it's not a good area unless you live next to the tower LOL!

This month is 5G home or business, next week VMP, after that Blue jeans. Zero direction. Everyone who disliked these true comments look at yourself and admit you sold out for a paycheck.

Same sh-t different day for any sales rep that has worked in retail for Big Red longer than 5yrs. You better sell that sh-t, drink the kool-aid with a smile on your face, do what most do Find A Victim to get off the zero list or find another job!

Hello Mr Customer I spoke with you last week about 5G, something we don't have yet but today I am calling you to see if when we have in 2 or 3 years you would like to call back by a random kid to remind you about 5G Home LOL

Someone asked about false churn. So I can give an example. When a customer comes in to “ upgrade “ their Apple Watch or IPad and the rep adds a new line instead of just upgrading the line. Then they give the customer a number to cancel the old line number. This tactic falsely raises the individual reps and stores pull through percentage. Hope this helps.

Had a customer ask me, "Do you know the long term effects of 5g?" Not gonna lie that made me think.

Our customers are only interested in, if we have the iPhone 13 pro or pro max in stock ,service is an afterthought. No one in our store says the greeting and we are 50 miles from a major city in the north-east. Out of touch you're not kidding. !

I know!! 5g home or mobile?
C - Well can you sign me up for 5g home?
Rep - sorry it's not in your area
C - Why did you ask me then when I first came in?
Rep - I don't know, I have to.
C - WTF?
REP - Well I'll put in a lead for when a tower is built.
C - When is that?
Rep - I don't know. We have no idea.
C - You smoke c$&$ or something?
Rep - no but I drink kool-aid

Oh god the greeting. It just proves once again how out of touch anyone at DM level and above is. The only thing that greeting is good for is confusing your customer when they walk in the door. "are you here for 5g home or 5g mobile" These people are so damn clueless. They got people saying this when there isn't even 5g home available lol freaking lol.

I see a lot of managers that are selling out lately. They were never kool aide drinkers but now are guzzling down ju-s. I guess the pressure is getting to them. Team selling doesn’t mean always greeting at the door or hanging in the back. If some of these stores want to hit numbers then managers need to get involved in the sale. Actually stores that are hitting numbers are slamming or doing false churn so nevermind.

“Are you here for 5g home or 5g phone”

Pathetic the intelligence of the clowns, I mean managers.

We don't have any 5g towers and yet all we do is put in leads. As if the amount of leads to an area is relevant to Verizon deciding to build a tower there...5g is all smoke. Pure bait and switch.
