Anyone remember when they sold everyone who's age and years of service were below a certain number, they'd no longer be part of the pension program but not to worry, they'd be getting a new 'cash balance' plan that was really just as good. They even had presentations with calculations side-by-side to calm everyone down.
And then a few years later they quietly 'froze' the cash balance plan, so it just earns minimal interest every year and gets no other contributions.
I still can't believe they got away with that. Anyone ever hear that any stink was made about this?
