I'll return to the office when Charlie does. Since he's 2,000 miles away he can let me know when his plane lands and I'll head to the office and meet him there.
Grow up and return to office or wait until you get laid off!

@dgw, I’d say OP’s the one looking like the adult here. You certainly aren’t. But do tell us why exactly we should return to the office?
Is it because:
- That’s what we’ve always done!
- Charlie said so!
- Wells might lose its CRE tax rebates (Or whatever financial shenanigans are at play)?
- Some other stupid reason?
Grow up, return to the office!
