I'm in Legal, so can only speak for that department, but the turnover is through the roof and has been happening for years, long before COVID and TG. People are leaving for more pay and less work, more pay and the same work, or same pay for similar or less work. See the thread? We pay less and demand more than the competition.
We can't even get attorneys with experience in civil litigation/insurance defense to work for us anymore. Everyone in the field knows how bad things are at Allstate, so they don't even bother applying. Now we have all these new attorneys with no relevant experience working for us and we're dumping a sh-t-ton of work on them (which is going about as well as you'd expect).
Oh and the cherry on top of the sh-t sundae is that they're now offering this "bonus" program for Legal employees if the company customer base grows by 2% in 2023! Of course we don't sell insurance, don't set rates, don't handle claims, so tell me why this is supposed to be exciting for us? How about creating a bonus system based on our actual work and factors that we control.
