"Word on the street is" kind of statements are only meant to scare people and hold no validity. If you have heard something from your manager or somebody you trust who you know has access to such information, then please do share with us. Sharing unfounded rumors on something as important as this is irresponsible at best, and downright cruel at worst.

Word on the street is WF employees need to get a life and stop being such an immature little sissies where their thought processes is an either or, debit or credit.
Tell it to the executives, they are the ones that seem to be doing what your concerned about, and unlike a rando forum post, you can't just ignore them.
Whisper in the wind is saying that phase 2 of the hub process will be kicking off in the next fee months.

OP you’re such a drama queen. This is how some people talk. even if they heard it from a manager they may use this phrase. This is an anonymous board where lots of what is disclosed is just a rumor. Some LOBs do different things and that doesn’t mean it isn’t true. I have assigned seating and I don’t discount any info from people with open spaces. Some things just don’t apply to ALL of us.
The phrase "word on the street" or the slightly similar phrase "word on the curb" simply means it's gossip. So as the listener you can decide how much validity to put into it. I would much rather someone tell me it's gossip than to make the gossip sound more credible by saying a manager said it.
